The first thing I said was, WAH! So ah Beng!!
Afterwhich I made him switch on the lights whilst I take pictures.
Come on come on. If I didnt do that, u guys wont be able to see it!
So the thing that fascinates me most about this car is it's multi-faceted light emitting capabilities - so many colours! Actually it had this SUPER COOL function where it will keep changing colours as the light moves from the front to the back of the car - SUPER AH BENG LARH! (But i like.. lol).
Second, the good old firm has taken to investing into our welfare and has now provided all lawyers with:

ERGONOMIC chairs! *wolf whistle*
Not bad at all, you can adjust the back rest, head rest, arm rest and seat height! i like! (though it took me awhile to figure out how to do it larh. i think besides being a closet lian i MIGHT be a closet geek, i like gadety stuff. heh)
well, funky seat above replaces this one, the one we used to have:
(that's my colleague's chair .. super gross check out the stains on the seat of the chair, which she claims she is not responsible for.. lol)
And here's KXL posing in her new chair. =)
Third, FIREWORKS!
We had to work on Saturday (late) like after the fireworks at 2100 hours still carry on okays.. and i thought might as well go downstairs to take a look.. It was MILLING with people outside Fullerton larh!
actually it was quite farnee because for the duration of the fireworks, there were these huge SBS buses that were in the way sometimes, and you could hear everyone groaning when one of these monsters totally obstructed the view to the fireworks.
sigh. so pretty. i wish there were fireworks everyday. i remember praying before that when i go to heaven, i wish to see fireworks everyday, and whole harvest fileds of sparklers (u know the mini firework on sticks that kids (and jasmine) really really like?).
can u imagine, if instead of wheat, you have fields and fields of sparklers that never go out????
*stars in eyes*
yuarh.. i know i can dream on.. i did say i only realistically expect to see that in heaven!
Urm. I have also been stuffing my face. This was from the dessert shop at Tiong Bahru - corn and peanut ice kachang!!!!
and we also had chocolate fruit fondue - one of the better ones i had. we were too eager to eat so i din get to take good pictures, but here's one..

I also went to watch 881 (support local production!) and really enjoyed it. Here's the song I cant get out of my head.. (and no, i dont understand hokkien but got subtitles)
The story line didnt require much thinking and certain scenes were, i felt unnecessarily homo, but I totally enjoyed the music, the costumes and the colour. Oh, and some parts quite farnee too.
Sometimes I wonder if I entered into the right profession. Some of you may know I never wanted to be a lawyer. Growing up, the occupation I remember really wanting to take up was that of a creative director - you know make ads for tv and stuff? But I didnt do well enough to get a scholarship to my then choice of university, New York Uni that is. And so law it was. And law it has become.
Yeah I enjoy my work now. But one cant quite help but wonder WHAT IF? I think that would probably be something I would have really enjoyed doing.
One life. One choice. No turning back.
Has the concept of time ever intrigued you? Like how it goes one way (forward) and is like two dimensional? (we seem to be going into metaphysics here.. too much for a Sunday night post!)
Well well. One life. One choice. No turning back.
Tough.
