Man Enough

Look what i saw in e papers yesterday! Hunky black boxer with BABY PINK boxing gloves! And if u look closely his boxing shorts have a pink belt too around his waist! Hahaa. Talk abt being MAN ENOUGH! Hahaa. And yes, i'm blogging from me trusty old phone. =) gonna be at my grams place tonight!

Who's your Daddy??

I remember when we were back in uni people used to greet each other by saying, "who's your daddy?" or "WAAAASSSSSUUUPPPPPP!!!!!!!!! (followed by a exaggerated sticking out of the tongue)"..

Heh.

Well, I recently came out of an episode i can only describe as long drawn and excruciatingly crushing. But the good thing that came out of it was the revelation of a deep conviction i cling on to in my heart of hearts.

I know who to trust to take me out of a really sticky situation.

And i know Who it was that TOOK me out, Who RESCUED me, Who reached down and PLUCKED me out of that long drawn and excruciatingly crushing episode.

And it isn't me.

It's Someone stronger, bigger, better and wiser than me. Someone who has my best interest at heart and loves me dangerously. Someone who places His protective boundaries around me so that nothing can harm me. So I know I can rest. Not to be complacent, but to do my best and surrender the rest. Someone is watching my front and my back.

I know "Who's my Daddy".

O dear dear friends, hear me! This is nothing to do with being weak. We all put our trust in something. It may be in our own strength, the tenacity of a dear one's love for us, the favour of a big boss, the power of money and status...

We all trust something. I guess the question is, do we have the confidence that the object of our trust would never fail us or come through for us or give us the hope to look forward to tomorrow? Do we have the confidence that the object of our trust is good and IS powerful enough to do just about ANYTHING in our best interest?

I do. Oh i do, i do, i do!

I have the confidence that my Father in heaven..

and not just that, i know He WILL do just about everything for me because He loves me.

O dear dear friends, hear me! Having come out of that long drawn and excruciatingly crushing experience, I can only say that in my heart of heart, i know Who it was that was protecting me ALL this time. There is no other explanation for the outcome.

And He did it simply because He loves me.

And I bless everyone to experience this love that I know.
